We learnt nothing new, other than the fact that Nathan Lowndes played a part in enticing former Livi team mate Makel to Home Park. It seems Nathan had nothing but high praise for life in the Westcountry, and indeed both new players cited the growing reputation of the Pilgrims as a succesful and ambitious team as a factor in luring them to Plymouth.

Speculation that Bobby Williamson will make further use of his knowledge of the Scottish Leagues to bolster his Plymouth squad is rife.
