Argyle carry on regardless

The cash-strapped League One club owe around £700,000 in unpaid tax and as a consequence, the club's bank accounts have been frozen, meaning the players and staff are still to be paid for November.

Paterson told The Herald: "There has been no moping or complaining among the boys. Things have been difficult enough with the weather conditions and games being called off.

"Obviously, we can't do anything about it.

"The boys have been coming in for training and just getting on with things. All we can do is keep our heads down and work hard.

"We haven't held a team meeting, or anything like that, even though we haven't been paid. We will wait and see what happens."
