Argyle Deny Doumbe Transfer Rumours

Weekend media reports had suggested that the Merseysiders had lodged a bid of around £750,000 for the Pilgrims centre back but chairman Paul Stapleton has denied this.

"I have been told about the speculation and that's what it is, just speculation," he told The Herald.

"We have not heard anything from anybody. That's the truth."
