Argyle dumped out of Carling Cup

Luton Town pulled off one of the shocks of the night when they dumped Championship Plymouth Argyle out of the competition.

Luton are languishing at the foot of the Football League, 14 points adrift from their nearest rivals but they have a 2nd round Carling Cup tie to look forward to.

Rossi Jarvis and substitute Tristan Plummer scored the goals against an Argyle side that included new signings Cathcart, Barker and Walton as well as "top" strikers MacLean and Easter.

Not good.
