Two goals from James Beattie within 8 second half minutes won the game for Sheff Utd. It was a disappointing result for Plymouth who conceded a 47th minute penalty which Beattie converted.

Before the hour mark was up Utd were 2 up when Beattie despatched a free kick from outside the box. He nearly completed his hat trick late on as Utd ran out comfortable winners.
