Plymouth boss Peter Reid has revealed that assistant head coach John Carver is in talks with Sheffield United. Argyle have given Carver permission to speak to the Blades, with new manager Gary Speed assembling his backroom staff at Bramall Lane. Reid told his club's official website: "Sheffield United called me, and I have given them permisison to have a chat wth John."
