Plymouth Argyle have annouced plans to submit a bid to hold world cup games in Plymouth for the 2018 or 2022 world cup finals.

Home park as it stands now is too small to hold such games, each host ground must be able to accomodate at least 40000 spectators.

A new stadium is expected to be built within the central park area but it is not been made clear whether it would be on the current site.

As well as a new stadium, there are plans for a world class training centre.

Proposals for host cities need to be entered by November with the outcome announced next year.

Cross your fingers time again!!
