Paul Sturrock told the club's official website: "He's the same type of player as Paul Gallagher and I'm sure he will be a quality player for us.
"He has tasted the Championship with Blackpool and Norwich last season and he did very well for them. Offensively, I'm sure he will be an excellent addition to us."
Also in at Home Park is Cillian Sheridan. The 20 year old Republic of Ireland U21 striker joins on loan from Celtic. He may get a chance against Queens Park Rangers tomorrow.
