LMA Manager of the Season

Former Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock has been named Second Division manager of the season by the League Managers' Association.

Sturrock has of course already received high praise from Plymouth's own Green Army, which was possibly best demonstrated as they sang "There's only one Paul Sturrock" as the Championship Trophy was presented after the Colchester match, even after his 'desertion' to Southampton with 12 games to go. However this praise from his former Division 2 peers at the LMA seems a fitting tribute to the man who contributed so much to our success of recent seasons.

The award was officially presented at the LMA dinner in Nottingham on Monday 18th May.
