Paul Sturrock said: "We've had some injuries and suspensions over recent weeks and I just felt we needed the right armoury for the games to come.
"Craig has done very well at Exeter and he gives us another attacking option with his ability to beat people on the wing. We have had him monitored regularly and I'm pleased to have him back."
Meanwhile Marcel Seip is staying at Blackpool. He will remain at Blackpool until December 29th but Argyle do have a 24 hour recall on him.
