Luggy looking to lose players

A philosophical sounding Sturrock said

"The essence of life for players at this club is to get themselves in the pecking order through performance in training and in friendlies.

"If they are to move on, they need a pre-season under their belts. That is vitally important for the individual player, for them to progress with whatever team they finish up with.

"To that end, I'm working very hard to get the appropriate number moved on, and for their sake as well.

"We have 30 players training, which is not ideal when you want to work on certain things for games and to get the shape of the team.

"It is something we are trying to address as quickly as possible."
