McNamee banned for three games

McNamee was the last defender as Chopra raced towards an open goal when he took out the Cardiff striker. Referee Stuart Attwell thought to offence to be greater than just stopping a goal scoring opportunity and call it serious foul play.

McNamee will now miss the game at the Emirates against Arsenal on Saturday and the Champinship games against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest.
