Blake, a right sided defender who has struggled to gain regular first team football at Cardiff City is a Welsh under 21 international.
In 3 years he has managed just 33 games, he was an unused subsitute in Cardiff's 3-1 win over Plymouth a couple of weeks ago.
The signing now provide's the defensive cover at rightback that Paul Sturrock thought was a weak area, previously, David McNamee was the only recognised player in that position.
