New signings set for full debuts

Sheridan played 45 mins off the bench on Saturday while Gow wasn't qite ready to play.

Paul Sturrock said: "We had to wait on Gow's international clearance and he had a wee calf injury so I wouldn't have taken a chance on him anyway on Saturday.

"But he trained on Sunday and is training [on Monday] so he will be in the squad."

Sturrock would not say if Gow will be in his starting XI but new on-loan Celtic striker Cillian Sheridan, 20, looks set to get his chance from the start after making an impressive Championship debut as a second-half substitute on Saturday.

He added: "Sheridan came on and showed brightness. He's quick, he's big, he's got a good touch and he wants to shoot at goal - all the ingredients we need. His performance and the way he fitted in so quickly was a bonus."

Argyle are looking for their first win of the season.
