No Commitment Admits Scott

Argyle were knocked out of the competition losing 2-1 at Underhill on Tuesday night.

"The manager situation does not affect the players and they cannot use that as an excuse," the Argyle caretaker boss said after the game.

"We didn't create anything and they had all the chances.

"They wanted to win the game more than we did. It's bad to say that but it's true. It's just not good enough at the end of the day.

"Everybody's seen the result and what's happened on the pitch. The players who came in had a chance to show what they could do.

"Against Burnley we showed determination and desire but we didn't show that commitment tonight.

"We didn't create enough from our good possession and for the goals our defending was schoolboy stuff."
