No offers for Puncheon?

Sturrock did not deny interest in his players saying questions have been asked about "wages and everything else". He did not name names though and on Puncheon, who spent time on loan at MK Dons last season, he said

"The slate has been cleaned from last season and Jason was in full development last year. I felt it was appropriate to put him out in that league," he said.

"He played League Two for several seasons and he went out and showed he could handle League One.

"He also had several reasonable performances for us when he was in the Championship so his progression is going in the right direction. He has looked very sharp since we came back into training.

"Unless somebody slaps me in the face with big money the debate will probably be on the backburner for at least until one or two of the pre-season friendlies when I can make a conscious decision.

"We have had no offers for any of my players so we'll wait and see. We have had discussions for many of our players over the last week but none of them have been concrete.
