Noone not fazed by transfer talk

Last updated : 17 December 2010 By BBC Sport

Noone told BBC Radio Devon: "Obviously I've seen it [the speculation] in the papers and people have said to me, but I'm just doing my normal game.

"I'm not paying too much attention. I'm just carrying on doing what I'm doing."

Plymouth have been given until 9 February by a High Court judge to clear their debts with HM Revenue & Customs.

Noone has been one of Plymouth's most consistent performers this season, putting in a string of impressive displays.

The winger, who joined Argyle from Southport in 2008, provided both assists as the Pilgrims beat their Devon rivals, Exeter City, at Home Park last weekend.

He said: "Last year I was getting linked with Sunderland and Wigan in the Premiership and that was just rumours and nothing came of that, so I've seen it before.

"I know that the manager said that Gus Poyet [Brighton's manager] rang up, but I'm not paying much attention until we see what happens in January and we'll go from there."

Plymouth return to action at Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road on Saturday, a ground where Noone has happy memories from last season.

Inevitably going to leave and what a shame - depressing times

He said: "It was my debut for Exeter and I was just over the half-way line. I went to cross it and put it in the six-yard box, but the wind took it over the goalies head.

"It was a good feeling to score on my debut.

"I'm going into the game confident because I scored there last year and I want to score there again, so I've got a feeling that I will."
