PFA chief wants Argyles financial situation resolved

The Pilgrims financial crisis has left them having to rely on a loan from the PFA to enable them to pay their players' wages for November.

"We are keeping very much in close touch with the club with regards to financial matters," Taylor told the Plymouth Herald Express.

"They are looking to get deals done with the Revenue and new income sources. Meanwhile, we are looking to assist the club with regards to financial help.

"But you will understand, of course, we need some security for that help, and that's what we are looking to sort out at the moment.

"We want to try and make sure our loan is protected but also that we can get some money to the players as well. That process is under way and I'm hoping it can be sorted soon."
