Plymouth V Fleetwood Town at Home Park - Match Preview

Goalkeeping poser for Pilgrims

Plymouth manager John Sheridan has a goalkeeping dilemma for the clash with Fleetwood at Home Park.

Sheridan gave Luke McCormick the nod against Southend last Saturday and then fellow shot-stopper Jake Cole saved a penalty and put in a fine display in the 3-2 defeat at Birmingham in midweek, presenting Sheridan with a poser.

Neal Trotman is expected to make his Sky Bet League Two bow after debuting at St Andrews on Tuesday night with Paul Wotton sidelined by broken ribs and Guy Branston unavailable with a calf injury.

Maxime Blanchard is available again after serving a two-match ban for his red card in the final match of last season.

Gareth Evans and Jon Parkin could both miss out for Fleetwood.

The Cod Army will assess Evans' foot injury after the midfielder was seen limping away from Meadow Lane following his substitution in the first half of the Capital One Cup defeat to Notts County.

Boss Graham Alexander also has concerns over veteran striker Parkin.

The former Preston forward is yet to feature this season due to a calf strain.
