Plymouth v Ipswich. Match preview

Right-back Mat Doumbe hobbled out of the 1-0 home win against Preston with a foot injury on Tuesday night and is an injury doubt for Saturday's Championship clash.

If Doumbe is ruled out, Sturrock could recall fit-again full-back David McNamee.

Doumbe has switched from centre-back to right-back in Scotland international McNamee's absence.

Argyle also wait on the fitness of Emile Mpenza. The Belgium international has yet to start for the club following his free-transfer arrival and was ruled out of Tuesday night's squad by a knee injury.

Under-pressure Ipswich boss Jim Magilton has no fresh injury concerns as he looks for a much-needed win.

A Tommy Miller penalty earned Town a point at bottom-club Nottingham Forest in midweek but it remains to be see whether the former

Sunderland man will keep his place as Magilton has named a different central midfield pairing in the last seven games.

Former Plymouth favourite David Norris was a victim of that rotation at the City Ground but is expected to start against his old club while Ivan Campo will also hope for a recall.

Magilton has also tended to play a single striker away from home so Jon Stead and Pablo Counago will battle it out for that place.

Ben Thatcher remains out with a torn thigh muscle and young defender Tommy Smith is a long-term absentee as he recovers from a broken ankle.
