Plymouth V Northampton at Home Park - Match Preview

As you were for Plymouth

Plymouth have no fresh injury worries as they look for back-to-back wins when Northampton come to Home Park.

The Pilgrims ended their long wait for three points last weekend as they won 1-0 at Mansfield and John Sheridan is unlikely to make many changes as they look to build up some momentum.

Striker Marvin Morgan remains sidelined with a shoulder injury while fellow forward Nick Chadwick is on loan at Tamworth and Sheridan has been unsuccessful so far in his search for another attacker.

Tyler Harvey and Paul Hayes are two options should the former Chesterfield boss decide to shuffle his pack.

Kane Ferdinand is in line for his debut for Northampton.

The midfielder joined the Cobblers on Thursday on a one-month loan deal from Peterborough and is expected to go straight into Aidy Boothroyd's starting XI.

Striker Roy O'Donovan was this week ruled out for around a month having undergone a hernia operation.

Clive Platt (calf) and Matt Heath (thigh) are closing in on their returns but this weekend is expected to come too soon, while Kevin Amankwaah (hamstring), Kelvin Langmead (knee), Lewis Hornby (back) and Alex Nicholls (broken leg) remain sidelined.
