Plymouth V Rotherham at Home Park - Match Preview

Cox out for Plymouth

Plymouth will be without Lee Cox as they look for a crucial three points in the battle for survival against Rotherham.

Argyle currently have a four-point cushion between themselves and the npower League Two relegation zone and another three points would secure fourth tier football for another season.

But they will have to manage without Swindon loanee Cox who will not play again this season after tearing shoulder ligaments.

The former Leicester trainee suffered the injury in Argyle's 1-0 win over Exeter on March 30, his 10th appearance for the Pilgrims, and has been sidelined since.

Striker Warren Feeney will miss out once more having been sidelined since January.

The Pilgrims head into this clash full of confidence having won five of their last seven games.

Rotherham boss Steve Evans has a triple selection headache.

Midfielder Michael O'Connor is struggling with an injury to his glute after a heavy challenge that saw him withdrawn from Tuesday's superb win at Bradford, which lifted the Millers into the automatic promotion places.

O'Connor has been in fine form over the last month so Evans will be hopeful the Northern Ireland international will make it.

David Noble pulled out of Tuesday's win with a virus, but he returned to training on Thursday and looks set to travel.

There is also some doubt over striker Daniel Nardiello as he is still struggling with a foot injury picked up while scoring against Fleetwood last week.

Daniel Kearns (Achilles) is nearing fitness and should be included in the match-day squad, but Mark Bradley (foot) is out.

The Millers could put themselves on the verge of promotion to npower League One with a win, with Burton away at play-off chasing Bradford.
