Reid calls for unity at Plymouth

Reid told BBC Spotlight: "We need to stick together, fight together and get out of this situation, and the only way we can do it is winning games.

"It's disappointing but we've got to get through it. There's no use moaning, there's worse things."

Reid continued: "We've got to stay bright. The staff have been terrific and the players have, and the only thing we can affect it from a football point of view is to try and win matches."

Reid admitted that, like the rest of the staff, he is also waiting to be paid.

My only worry is a points deduction, which unfortunately seems likely

"I haven't [been paid]. It's just one of them things it's happens and we've got to get over it," he added.

"There are people losing their jobs all over the country, it's tight out there."

Plymouth are also struggling on the pitch, where they sit just three points above the relegation places in League One, and their match at MK Dons on Saturday has been postponed.

"The most important thing when you're coming up to the match is the match and we've got to concentrate on the game and try and win," he said.
