Reid without striker

The former Manchester City and Southampton man, who is League One's top scorer this season, missed the 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth because the club did not want to risk him getting injured ahead of a potential sale.

The strikers contract is up at the end of the season and with the current transfer embargo preventing contract negotiations, the club cannot afford to see the player injured.

The Pilgrims could make changes to the starting line-up and defender Karl Duguid and utility man Jim Paterson could replace Kari Arnason and Joe Mason if Reid decides to abandon the 4-2-3-1 formation in favour of a more traditional 4-4-2 against the Terriers.
