Plymouth Argyle vice-chairman Paul Stapleton feels the side are on the verge of turning around their fortunes.After an indifferent start to the current campaign, Argyle have take four points from their last two games, the latest being a 3-2 win against Swindon.
Stapleton told BBC Devon: "It's started to come right, I can see signs and I'm really, really hopeful.
"I'm hoping we go on an unbeaten run, start getting points on the board and get in the right half of the table."
He added: "We need to let our fans be positive. They've had enough doom and gloom for a couple of seasons and let's cheer the team on."
Stapleton, who has been a director at Plymouth Argyle since 2001, said the progress of the current season draws parallels with his first year in charge.
"We went to Rushden & Diamonds and won 3-2 and that was a comeback as well," he said.
"We were down the bottom of the league and then we went on a 19-game unbeaten run, and I can remember that back in 2001."
Plymouth's victory over Swindon has seen them rise up to 14th in the league standings, a position Stapleton is hoping they can improve on in the coming weeks.
He said: "Now we've got to make sure we win our home game against Hartlepool followed by Cheltenham the week after.
"I'd like the fans to come out and just cheer us on because I can see signs of something happening here."
