Sturrock hoping for sell out boost from fans

The boss is hoping the home support will make a difference in Sunday's live TV game.

Sturrock told BBC Radio Devon: "I think the better atmosphere will be better for the team."

"I think that it's important that we get as many people inside the stadium as possible and back the side."

Plymouth have not won at Home Park since a 4-0 win over Coventry on 11 April, and have only claimed one point at home this season, a 1-1 draw with QPR in August.

Sturrock said: "The home support have backed the team until the end of the game or at half-time this season.

"They've vented their frustrations then, which is only proper.

"Against Watford they got right behind the team in the second-half and that's what I'm very hopeful will happen come Sunday."
