Swansea v Plymouth. Match preview

The Swans were held to a 1-1 draw on Saturday away at Nottingham Forest and Martinez is hopeful of naming the same squad for the visit of the Pilgrims.

That means defender Garry Monk's back injury will continue to keep him out, although midfielder Joe Allen has coped well with a slight groin strain and is available.

Midfielder Darren Pratley is also pushing for a start after his premature recovery from a shoulder injury has resulted in him making two substitute appearances in the last two games.

One player who will not be at the disposable of Martinez is midfielder Owain Tudor-Jones, who has joined Swindon on a month-long loan.

Swansea will be looking to get their play-off push back on track after drawing their last three league games.

Plymouth boss Paul Sturrock is sweating on the fitness of 12-goal top-scorer Paul Gallagher.

On-loan Blackburn ace Gallagher scored his fifth goal in four games with the opener in Argyle's 2-2 draw with third-placed Reading on Saturday but was substituted at half-time after feeling his hamstring tighten up.

Fellow striker Rory Fallon was Gallagher's replacement and he may start against his former club at the Liberty Stadium if the one-time Scotland international is ruled out.

Argyle are set to be without on-loan Manchester United central defender Craig Cathcart (groin) who was also substituted 25 minutes into Saturday's match and Hungarian international Krisztian Timar is likely to take his place at the back.
