Ten-man Argyle slip to defeat.

Plymouth were beaten 1-0 by AZ Alkmaar in their latest pre-season friendly. Nick van der Velden scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot early on. Karl Duguid was then stretchered off with an injury, although it does not appear to be serious, and Argyle suffered another blow late on when substitute Steve McLean was sent off.
