Two Points Dropped - Williamson

Argyle had fallen behind to a Steve Lomas goal but captain Paul Wotton came off the bench to blast home a 35-yard free-kick with his first touch and earn the Pilgrims a share of the spoils in an entertaining game at Home Park.

"I felt we deserved at least something out of the game although, because we're at home, we're disappointed because we lost two points.

"They scored with possibly their only effort at goal, whereas we had a lot of play and could have added to the one goal we got.

"Credit to West Ham - they defended when they had to and looked reasonably assured at the back, although we posed them problems."
