Walsall are set to give debuts to new signings Reuben Reid and Jon Macken, with Darren Byfield and Steve Jones likely to be the ones to miss out.Winger Reid has arrived on a five-month loan from West Brom, while striker Macken has signed a one-year contract following his release by Barnsley.

Plymouth manager Peter Reid has injury concerns over midfielder Craig Noone and defender Reda Johnson.

Should Johnson fail to recover, 17-year-old Curtis Nelson could deputise.

Plymouth Argyle manager Peter Reid told BBC Spotlight:

We need to create more chances - Reid

"We've been working on a lot of attacking play, trying to get it wide, trying to get crosses in and the lads have responded really well.

"If you look at the stats over the past couple of years, we haven't got enough goals and it's about trying to get quality into the opposing box and then get people on the move with a desire.

"Walsall is going to be a real difficult one for us, but when you go to Southampton and get a result it gives the players confidence, so we've just got to bring that into Saturday's game."
