Watford's Lloyd Doyley and Will Buckley have hamstring strains and will undergo late fitness tests along with Heidar Helguson, who is carrying a knock.Henri Lansbury and Jon Harley are both suspended, while Tom Cleverely has been ruled out for the rest of the season with knee ligament damage.

Plymouth skipper Carl Fletcher and winger Craig Noone are hoping to return after their respective knee injuries.

But Kari Arnason (hip) and Krisztian Timar (hamstring) are sidelined.

MATCH PREVIEW

Struggling Watford and Plymouth meet in a crucial relegation showdown at Vicarage Road, which both relegation-threatened sides dare not lose.

Watford, without a win in six matches, are above the drop zone only on goal difference and four points ahead of Plymouth, who desperately need to win this game.

Back-to-back away victories have given Plymouth a fighting chance of staying up, but a defeat against the Hornets could leave them on the brink of falling into League One.

Watford can also ill afford to lose this one, not least because three of their last four matches of the season are away from home. They will sink into the bottom three if Sheffield Wednesday, who visit Middlesbrough, better their result on Saturday.
