We were lethargic bemoans Sturrock

"I thought there was a real lethargy to our play today. And I'm a bit disappointed with that," Paul Sturrock said.

"My biggest disappointment has not been only that we haven't won the past two games, but I think there has been a mental thought process that we just had to turn up because of the run we were on.

"These were two games that most of the fans expected rich rewards from and it is a mental approach that I think leaked through to the team.

"Duly we have been spanked on the bottom on both occasions."

Meanwhile Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll was far happier.

"Five games unbeaten in this division, whether you are at the top or at the bottom, is a very good achievement," he said.

"We had been on a poor run but we played some good stuff during that time and now things are turning it all bodes well for the future.

"We have a good set of lads who want to do well. We just have to maintain it."

O'Driscoll admitted his side continued to struggle for goals, but he added that picking up points in their current position was the key factor at the moment.

"It was three points down to organisation and discipline rather than flare and skill," he admitted.

"We probably should have won by two or three goals but the win is important for us."
