"We've not been playing terribly in the past few weeks. We've just been unfortunate and even with their goal, the defender headed it first and it's hit Cresswell and looped into the back of the net," he said after the 1-1 draw.
"Thankfully we stayed strong and didn't concede another and could maybe have had a valid shout for a penalty. But it's not gone for us and we didn't get the decision.
"But to be honest neither side have gone out and taken the points and Preston never played as well as they have been doing."
