Williamson lands Doumbe from Hibernian

The 24-year-old defender rejected a financially attractive 3 year extension to his existing contract with Hibs, instead signing a pre-contract with the Greens.  The details of the 2-year deal will be finalised when his current contract expires next month, meaning no transfer fee will be due when he officially moves to the Westcountry. He began his career with Paris St. Germain before signing to Hibs in 2001 under then manager Alex McLeish.

The signing opens the door to speculation that Plymouth boss Bobby Williamson will try to lure other players from his old club, as he attempts to boost the Pilgrims' chances in the First division next season with new additions to his squad.
