Wolves v Plymouth. Match preview

Stephen Ward, Chris Iwelumo and Nigel Quashie are all currently on four bookings ahead of the game at Molineux, with this weekend providing the cut-off point for an automatic one-match ban for accumulating five yellow cards.

The Wolves boss has no new concerns on the injury front as he looks for a much-needed victory against the struggling Pilgrims.

Midfielder David Edwards impressed in the 2-2 draw against Cardiff last time out, as did veteran defender Jody Craddock, and they should again both start this weekend.

Carl Ikeme (back) remains a few weeks away while fellow goalkeeper Matt Murray and defender George Elokobi (both knee) are targeting summer returns.

Plymouth are boosted by the return to fitness of Wales striker Jermaine Easter ahead of the trip to league leaders Wolves.

Easter came through a midweek reserves run-out against Swansea unscathed following the knee injury that has ruled him out since mid-December.

Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock is also boosted by the availability of on-loan Manchester United right-back David Gray.

Gray was recalled for the 2-2 home draw against Sheffield United last Saturday following an ankle injury.

The draw ended a run of three successive defeats for 20th-placed Argyle.

One ray of light for Argyle fans in recent weeks has been the impressive displays of new loan signing Carl Fletcher and the Crystal Palace man will retain his place in midfield.
