After hoping for a Premiership side, Argyle fans will probably be down-hearted at drawing Championship rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers in the F.A. Cup Third Round. Tony Pulis, however, was considerably upbeat at the prospect of a trciky second trip to Molineux inside 7 days. Glenn Hoddle's side are scheduled to host the Pilgrims for a league match on New Year's Eve. "The first thing you want from an FA Cup tie is a home draw", the Argyle boss insisted, "If you don't get that, you want to get a good game, and, to me, Wolves are a great team".  Pulis added that he was particularly looking forward to it, perhaps more optimistic than the Plymouth faithful whose belief will be tested as the Greens will have to overcome difficult hurdles to make it through for a second chance of a meeting Premiership opposition.

The form books antagonise Argyle's chances of progressing.  Not just they're vunerability playing away form home, but also the fact they have just the once managed to overcome Wolves in 25 attempts in all competitons.  See how Argyle have faired in the F.A. Cup previously, in Cup History
