Plymouth to start 2017 top of League Two after seeing off Crawley
Plymouth will end 2016 as League Two leaders after taking advantage of Doncaster's slip-up with a 2-0 win over Crawley.
Derek Adams' side knew victory would take them top after Doncaster could only manage a draw at Mansfield and they did not pass up the chance.
Oscar Threlkeld put the promotion chasers in front on 69 minutes before Craig Tanner wrapped up the three points deep into injury time.
